Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In my classroom, I want to create lifelong learners. My students come into the classroom every day excited to learn something new. They come from low income families who struggle with providing essentials such as warm meals. They also have a positive attitude about what we are learning. About ninety percent of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price meals.
My students are friendly and helpful, and they always strive to do their best in their classwork.
I believe I am teaching the future leaders of tomorrow.
My Project
These pocket chart stands will help my students to sort letters and picture cards. Pocket charts are an amazing tool that will greatly aid my students and increase their reading skills.
My students are eager to learn and the pocket charts will be another tool that they can use during center time.
The pocket charts can be moved from one place to another which makes it easy for students to be at any part of the room and still be able to actively engage with each other. The pocket charts will also be used to display important charts that we create together.
