My Students
We are a K-12 public charter school in Utah. We are an excelling Title I school with over 40 percent of our students on free and/or reduced lunches.
We excel annually as a school, testing as one of the top schools in the state on standardized tests.
We do more with less and are proud of it. My students are eager to learn, and it shows!
We work as a school to ensure the success of every student who attends.
My Project
My students will use these ball chairs while meeting with me during centers. They will also be used by wiggly students who will benefit from sitting on this type of chair.
Right now, we don't have chairs at our small group table, so students have to stand or bring their chairs from their desks while working with me.
We use our center rotations to cover a variety of curriculum material. Receiving the stability ball chairs will help our centers run more smoothly.
My students will no longer have to drag chairs to the group table, and students will be able to spend more time learning and less time dragging chairs back and forth or being distracted by others who have to move their chairs.
