Learning Matters: Engaging Struggling Learners

Help me give my students a horseshoe table they can write on, with the markers they need to write and math manipulatives to help make learning fun and exciting while developing their conceptual understanding of math!

My Students

The students who will benefit most from this project are students who are currently struggling to either read, do math or both. These students come from a variety of incomes and backgrounds. They all have the desire to learn, they just need a place in which to learn best with the ability to apply their learning.

Students needing intervention to best support their classroom learning are the deserve a little something extra!

They want to learn and just need the right circumstances to learn what we know they can.

My Project

The students I support are students behind academically due to COVID school closures. These students all want to learn, they just need to tools.

This project will support students' math and reading learning through the use of a horseshoe table at which they can sit to learn and on which they can write, along with math manipulatives and writing practice.

Students will engage with math manipulatives and write responses for math and reading on the table! Student engagement will soar as will their achievement from enhanced understanding of core concepts.
