My Students

Students should be eager to learn. They should be kind, respectful, and curious. Well, that is what the students of Room 27 are! Rm. 27 is an active, energetic 2nd grade group of students!

MLK Element students work hard daily to be the best they can be.

We are an inner city school, with 100% free breakfast and lunch. Many of the students are bussed to our school.

We have students from many backgrounds. We celebrate this at MLK Elem.

My Project

We will use EXPO Low Odor Dry Erase Markers, Chisel Tip, Assorted Colors, 36 Pack and white boards to complete math problems. It will be helpful as the children will get to use a new medium. The students enjoy trying new things. It helps to get us moving and they will focus on the topic, as this will stimulate them.

Also, we have learned about resources and using these items will help us do our part to use less paper, and wood for pencils.

The students are concerned for their environment and look for ways to help and improve it.
