Help me give my students monthly interactive magazines with online components to help them to build relationships and dive deeper into topics of interest such as marine life, insects, and plants.

I teach at a Title I school in Louisiana where 100 % of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of my Pre-k students receive backpack food on the weekend. Despite so many hardships, my students love coming to school each day, and they are always excited to learn new things!
Our students are eager to learn and grow.
They deserve to have the best environment to reach their goals and build our class community.
Our school is focusing on creating a culture of perseverance in excellence. This is a vision that needs to be apart of every student that walks in our doors. This vision will change their lives!
A subscription to Scholastic's My Big World will be an invaluable resource for my students. It is important for children to be in touch with what is happening in the world around us. Using Scholastic's My Big World during my small reading groups will provide my students with a way to keep in touch with current events. They will be able to access informational text in a fun, interesting and engaging way. Not only are the pictures wonderful but Scholastic's My Big World allows students to learn about relevant topics in a developmentally appropriate way. The addition of Scholastic's My Big World to my classroom would help my class stay current on events happening locally and internationally. We will be able to use our weekly readers to supplement on many of our weekly themes such as plants, friendships, and ocean animals
