Learning Made FUN With Digital Cameras and Headphones
Help me give my students opportunities to showcase their learning by using digital cameras. They also need the ability to listen to some of the amazing programs on their computer by using these headphones.
My students are fun, creative and excited to learn. They love to learn through technology and to also be challenged.
We love our school, our community and have a great respect for all of the stakeholders that contribute to our learning; we know we are very lucky to be here in our great diverse school.
Our school is Title I with over 50% of our students receiving free or reduced price meal plans. Many of my students have limited access to technology at home and are always appreciative and excited when they time on a Chromebook in class.
My Project
I'm very luck to have one-on-one Chromebooks for my students. We are a title one school where at least 50% of the students receive free or reduced lunches. Some of my students were able to purchase headphones but the majority of my students cannot purchase quality headphones or not be able to afford it. The ones I've purchased are just falling apart. I would like my student to have comfortable headphones to use when they are on their Chromebooks. They use the computers for testing and many of the programs they use involve verbal instructions. I'd really like to see these students have the appropriate supplies to use the technology in the room.
My students are also very excited to showcase their projects and learning through technology but we have no cameras that are capable of working with our computers.
Students would be able to take pictures of the work they produced or demonstrate their understanding through pictures. I would love to have them document their scientific research through photographs.
