Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach Kindergarten in a Title I school with the most amazing students! Despite their challenges, they still come to school eager and motivated.
My students are my reason for teaching.
They love to learn and I love to learn with them! They are energetic and involved in their education. They come to school each day motivated to face new challenges and accomplish things they didn’t think they could do. Every day I am proud to be their facilitator of success!
My Project
By transforming our traditional whiteboard into an interactive display, the students and I will be directly engaged in the lessons. The students have the opportunity to be active learners in our classroom and take a more hands-on approach. The eBeam allows us to click, drag, draw, write and highlight anything that is on the screen. By exposing the students to this technology they are also being prepared for their future as learners. Technology is becoming a bigger part of their lives each year.
This project brings the curriculum alive creating active learners across all subject areas.
