Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are unique learners who are gifted differently. They work hard to attain the skills they need for life beyond the classroom. They are becoming leaders and are growing academically and socially through individualized instruction and love. My students are special because they have to work harder to attain common goals others find easy. I love their willingness to try, make mistakes, and celebrate every small achievement. I love celebrating every milestone with my school children! We appreciate every donation and use it immediately! They will benefit from your generosity.
My Project
My students love to play and learn using LEGOs. Social emotional learning is an important component of our learning. I will often ask students to express themselves and these LEGOs will be a great tool to start a conversation. I also teach my students about communities. They can use the various figurines to make connections and discuss the important figures in the community.
Social emotional needs and community figures are huge components in the classroom.
Please help give my students necessary tools to become successful in the classroom and explore these topics using a different outlet. My students will be excited to open the LEGOs when they arrive. They will be learning while they have fun.
