Learning is Mathtastic!
Help me give my students the tools they need to learn math hands-on.
I am so grateful to be my student's Transitional kindergarten teacher. My class is so happy and jovial. Each and every day they come to school so happy and full of energy. That energy is contagious.
My students love being in school.
They are very inquisitive and curious. They ask questions about the world and like to investigate and observe answers to their questions. Learning is fun in my class, not because of me, but because of these wonderful four to five year olds.
My kids are learning addition and subtraction. Our school district doesn't provide a TK math program, so everything I have I have created or bought on my own. It would be wonderful if the kids could use different manipulative and visuals to help them learn math concepts.
We love doing fun math in TK.
In TK, we do: patterning, identify numbers up to 20, count up to 100, skip counting, recognizing sets of numbers, addition and subtraction (digits up to 9). I have a lot of counting centers, but am in need of centers for the other essential math skills.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
