My Students

My students are an amazing group of kids that face many challenges each and everyday. Many come from poverty, homes with one parent or are being raised by other family or friends. We also have military students who have one parent homes due to deployment and live in an area where they have no other family. Our classroom family becomes stronger everyday and we work hard to help each other learn and feel cared for each day they arrive at school.

My Project

Hot Dots interactive learning activities and pen are so much fun! My students would love to have review activities that are fun and also engaging. The pen for the Hot Dots allows them to self-correct and also know if the choices they are making are correct. It allows for instant feedback to their learning and practice. These activities will allow for review in reading with letters, word families, blends, and short phrases. In math, they will be able to practice colors, shapes, adding, and sequencing. These activity cards and pens will help the students take charge of their own learning.
