This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have sixteen Special Education students from five different countries with a common goal of learning. My students are eager to learn. Using technology helps them engage and keeps them excited about learning. With my students' reading various reading level abilities, I do a lot of differentiation strategies. Technology allows me the ability to do more to integrate things in the classroom to meet all students' skill levels. Having the ability to work in a small setting allows them to focus better.

My Project

Children all over the world love listening to stories. They want to know more about their favorite characters and often try to emulate them. By allowing them to listen to more stories that come with a meaningful message, you can definitely inculcate qualities like wisdom, courage, honesty, etc. from an early age into your my students and prepare them for middle school, high school and even college.

As my students progress through their years, listening skills are become increasingly important, and there’s no better way to improve attention span and listening skills than by listening to stories to keep them engaged.
