Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My hard working students have individual education plans and struggle with letter sounds, spelling, and creating sentences. The phonics flashcards will be used to help teach reading through the three main cognitive learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.

Confidence, perseverance, and grit will happen in a non-threatening environment when the lesson is made to be a game!

My students will persevere through the lesson by participating in phonics flashcard games, which will be used as a formative assessments. They will also be motivated with the most popular prizes after playing these games. There will be a lot of laughter and positive energy throughout each lesson. The paper letter tray will keep all of the materials organized.
