Help me give my students the tools they need for success! I can help them by creating re-usable laminated partner games! They can use the dry erase markers with built in cap erasers!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
It's my third year in the same building and I love seeing all the familiar faces of children with eager smiles! I am a K-5 Math Master Teacher. I spend half my day teaching two math classes and the other half the day coaching K-5 teachers.
My First Grade scholars are excited and ready to learn this new school year!
They are ready for their new grade level, new teacher and new challenges. Our students don't always have access to the resources they need to come to school prepared. Having the right school supplies will ensure success!
These students are all in various stages of learning, and by working together with their teachers, I can build upon and develop their strengths. I want to bring continuity to teaching by securing necessary materials for all of our learners.
My Project
I am requesting card stock, a Thermal Laminator, laminating pouches, and dry erase markers with built in erasers.
These supplies will help me to make sturdy, re-usable activities that are colored coded by math domain.
This organized system will keep students focused and on track with their learning! I will save time by creating permanent activities that can be used at different times of the year when we study different topics.
I have also requested cap erasers for our pencils. When students complete the dry-erase activities, they will want to record their learning in their math notebooks. We have a dire need for erasers that can last on our writing tools!
