Help me give my students the materials needed to help them succeed in school. I am determined to bring painting back into my classroom with this new paint easel.
My students are amazing, determined, and so eager to learn. Most of them come from disadvantaged backgrounds and have not had the colorful experiences that other children their age have had.
Usually, I am able to give these children wonderful experiences, but due to COVID, they have all been learning from home and have missed a year of learning opportunities.
Now that we are faced with the exciting news that we are going back to school we will be living in an environment like we never have in schools. No touching, no group activities, and a lot of separation from others. Because of this, I am beginning to come up with activities and ideas that will keep them engaged yet safe from others. The materials I am hoping for will help me change my classroom into an environment where they can keep to themselves yet still explore the world around them.
My Project
These materialsl will be so appreciated because they will help the students learn to love school all over again. I am determined to bring the fun back to learning and painting everyday is one of my goals. In addition, to stop the spread of germs I am trying to get enough behind the chair storage so the students won't have to move around the room as much.
As children come back to school after being gone for a year, it is my hope that new and exciting materials will help them be engaged and excited about learning.
