My students need two essential tools- a classroom printer and ink so worksheets can be printed for small group instruction.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hello, I am a first grade teacher in Albuquerque who will team teach. We are a Title I school. I will be working with a 1st grade Dual Language model being 80% Spanish and 20% English. In addition, I will also be working with a 2nd grade Dual Language model being 70% Spanish and 30% English. I will be servicing at least 40 students.
This is my 2nd year trying to get sponsors and I'm very excited.
My students are at times limited in their school materials. I don't wish for this to be a barrier for their learning. That is why a little help can go a long way.
Thank you in advance.
My Project
A classroom printer is every teacher's dream of having in their own room! Teachers need to print at least 3-5 copies for every small group (you may have at least 3 groups: beginning steps, near proficient and proficient) when differentiated instruction is delivered. Because not all my students are at the same level, their worksheets will look different according to my students' needs. With this HP OfficeJet Pro and extra ink, I will print off phonics, math and writing worksheets.
Having a printer in my own room will help me by not running around making copies but by spending more time planning effectively.
Many times the school printers have technological problems, or there is a line to use the machines, or even paper getting jammed. This is why I need this printer, to copy those small group instruction worksheets.
