My Students

My classroom is organized chaos. We are always having fun while we are learning! My classroom is filled with students that barely have the basic necessities, much less the materials they need for school.

Our school has a high poverty rate, with most students receiving free or reduced-priced lunches.

For many students in our area, school is where they experience many "firsts" or new things. Some students have never even traveled more than 30 minutes from home. It is amazing how they can accomplish so much with so little.

My Project

I am requesting alternative seating for my students. I have several students with ADHD that could use an alternative to the typical desk chair. Right now we only have stationary typical school chairs. These will help them be able to move quietly while still learning.

These chairs will help students with ADHD be able to continue to focus while balancing on these chairs.

Students will be allowed to take turns on these and will be so excited to use them. Your donation will not only brighten their days but will be helping them learn in the process. Thank you for taking the time to consider our project.
