My Students

Our students are a unique group of driven individuals seeking to improve their lives in our low economic area through education. Each child knows the benefits of a good education. We are a preparatory school where the teachers' goals are to prepare each student for the world that lies ahead. Our school is a small school where we have to share our technology equipment which creates a challenge with limited resources. Being a small school allows for each member of the staff to know each child personally.

Each student may not attend college but we strive for each student to seek some type of secondary education.

Many of our students are dual enrolled in college or vocational class as they prepare for life after school. School for many is the high point of their day. As a faculty, we work hard to make school a safe and caring environment.

My Project

The use of Chromebooks will open the horizons for many students. Students in art class will be able to explore artists and museums from around the world. In speech class, students will be able to research topics to formulate factual views and points for presentation preparing them for their future roles in society. In leadership, students will research world leaders to see how or how not to be a role model for their peers. Technology is needed in today class no matter what the subject. School is the only place many of our students to have the use of technology needed to work on and complete assignments in their academic life.
