Learning in Color!

Help me give my students the proper modifications on their materials with a color copier/printer for the classroom.

My Project

My English language learners and diverse learners retain material and skills best through visuals, images, color-coded materials, and creative lessons. Color also inspires creativity within them and encourages students in coming up with new ideas. Having access to a color printer can help spark this.

It has been proven that children learn and retain information longer when color is used in educational material and in the classroom, especially for those with attention disorders.

Being able to provide materials that would accommodate their learning style will help keep them engaged. For example, I would be able to print colored images for new vocabulary words, color-code groups, provide highlighted text and keywords in materials, provide color-coded lists of steps, and fabulous anchor charts. My goal is to help them be most successful and having this tool would make such a positive difference for all of them.
