Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To help support early learning of letter identification, letter sounds, sight words, beginning reading, and mathematical support skills, we can send home booklets for student "homework." My project supplies like the printer and ink will help to make sure that all learning materials will be colorful and engaging for my young transitional kindergarten students. Sending home black and white booklet copies can be so boring and lose student interest compared to a tablet or the television.

Color helps grab student attention and keep their interest focused on the lessons we are trying to learn.

In a world of technology and colorful things, my students are losing interest quickly. My hope is that with more colorful work, we can spark that interest again and keep students learning both at school and at home.
