Help me give my students the ability to make visual connections by printing material in color.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I work with the resource special needs students in 6th-8th grade that are located in an extremely high poverty area in NC. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
I have the ability to reinforce and provide visual connections to my students to help them be successful learners.
They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
This project will help me bring colorful lessons in the classroom. Students will interact with lesson materials differently than in black and white. Printing materials in color can especially help students interpret and understand charts and graphs, and it aids in retention of material covered in class. Color can spark their imaginations and facilitate the brainstorming process that's essential to creative projects and student engagement.
I can use this color printer for a variety of purposes in the classroom, from visual aids to student handouts and beyond.
Color engages and inspires students, facilitating the creative and critical thinking that's so important for brainstorming original ideas and developing proficiency in complex subjects. Most importantly, it can be a tremendous asset for learners of all types, unlocking educational opportunities for everyone.
