"Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions."
Pablo Picasso. Please help my students be able to see all the colors and emotions offered to them in this world through a color printer so that they may appreciate the artwork and beauty of others.
My students are eager to learn and experience art.
I teach art history and studio art based on the works by masters, allowing them to understand the techniques and fundamentals of art while learning to appreciate some of the greatest artists of our time.
My Project
A color printer will allow me to give each student a color picture. This means allowing them to have a full understanding of a work of art. Seeing a picture of "The Scream" in black and white does not tell the whole story. I want my students to be able to imagine themselves standing before the actual painting or sculpture.
Many of my students will not have the opportunity to travel the world to experience these great works of art in person.
By giving them a picture of the artwork that portrays it as close as possible to it's true form, allows them to appreciate it more, and learn more from it. Color is also important to their education. I can't discuss an artist's use of colors if they can't see them!
