My classroom is full of creative and energetic students. They are eager to discover the world and challenge their minds in learning. Students that attend our school come from diverse backgrounds. Many students are from low-income households and participate in the free and reduced-price lunch program.
Students in my class have a spark for learning and they get very excited when they are introduced to the opportunity to discover and learn!
It is important for these young learners to have opportunities to engage in hands-on activities, as well as virtual activities, to allow for exploration, discovery, and processing of new knowledge. Meaningful learning strengthens skills, increases student confidence, and assists in creating a love for learning.
I teach 46 amazing Kindergarten students! Out of these 46 students, 28 will learn in the virtual setting. Students will have to watch lessons recorded by the teacher and complete online assignments.
Donations to this project will help give my students the optimum virtual experience.
With all the new technology platforms and software, I am in need of a teaching laptop to record my virtual lessons and hold weekly meets with my virtual students. This will help students be engaged and excited as if they were learning in the classroom.
