This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have limited resources to buy custom accessories and clothing. Having shirts or bags that are unique help my students with self esteem.

Giving students the ability to take a basic shirt, create a unique design and make it gives them both a skill and confidence.

This confidence will spread to other aspects of their lives.

Creating designs on the computer and seeing them realized helps students learn they do have special skills that are unique to them. This helps them go for goals and careers they would have previously thought were beyond their reach.
