I need to attend the Teach Your Heart Out Conference to inspire and empower myself as an educator and learn innovative and research-based strategies and resources to use in the classroom.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” ~Nelson Mandela
My students are caring, hard-working, creative, and enthusiastic fifth graders who want to do their best and make the world a better place.
Our school receives 100% funding for free breakfast and lunch for all students. My students have a wide range of ability levels, backgrounds, and interests, and they simply cannot all learn in the same way or with the same materials. Providing more opportunities for collaboration, creative expression, and the ability to share their knowledge will greatly benefit my students! Most of my students face challenges outside of school, and I want to do all I can to make them feel loved, valued, and successful inside my classroom.
My Project
I am requesting the funding for this conference to improve myself as an educator. In this day of teaching, it is crucial for educators to surround themselves with like-minded individuals.
The opportunity to go to the Teach Your Heart Out Conference would truly give me the chance to grow as an educator.
I want to learn some new and innovative classroom strategies. I am looking for some strategies that are on the cutting edge and research-based. This conference will impact my students as they will receive a teacher who is refueled and eager to challenge their thinking. My students deserve to have an educator who is constantly growing in order to provide them the best possible education.
Not only will be students for this current school year be impacted but also the students in other classrooms, as I will return with ideas to collaborate with my coworkers. How often have you heard a teacher say they are EXCITED and EAGER to attend professional development? This conference would be a teacher's dream.
