This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the most important skills to learn in kindergarten, as well as in life, is that it is okay to make mistakes. Many students come to school thinking that everything has to be perfect. This often leads to self-confidence issues and meltdowns.

My students need books about making mistakes.

I am wanting to instill that confidence in my students that we can always learn from our mistakes. Sometimes, mistakes help us grow in the best ways. These books will help students see examples of characters that learn from their mistakes and become more self-confident in the process.
