My students are the youngest learners in our school district. They are Pre-K students from a wide range of cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 50% of students are dual language learners, over 60% receive free or reduced-price lunch, and 1/3 have IEPs. Our students speak a multitude of languages and come from a variety of countries. In my classroom alone, students speak 6 different home languages.
My Project
My students need materials that they can do at home! This project allows them to experience learning while they can not be at school. No one was prepared to teach from home but we are in a time that this is required of teachers & families.
Many of my students do not have access to supplies to make distance learning a success; this project will help fill parts of that void for them.
Puzzles, dry erase boards, stickers, and more help promote learning while away from school for my 4K students!
