My Students
During this challenging time of COVID-19 we are working endlessly to make sure that all students continue to learn and close as many gaps as possible. My students are currently being homeschooled by their teachers and parents. All students are required to work remotely using technology. Although this is a requirement for all students, some students don't have the necessary tools to be successful.
My Project
Learning doesn't just happen inside the classroom. With the whiteboards and expo markers, students will be able to show their thinking as they follow along with me as we learn virtually. My students will be able to learn, grow, and internalize through interactive experiences with real materials that require all of their senses. I will spend careful time planning virtual learning plans, with open-ended activities and hands-on materials, to use throughout the year. The sight word flash cards will be a great resource for my ESL students as well as a great visual to help them comprehend better! These resources and materials will be a tremendous asset to our virtual classroom!
