Living by the words of Dr. Seuss, my students are uniquely special and amazing.
100% of my students receive free lunch. This population of urban, low poverty students excels in math and language arts. These inner-city students live in an extremely challenging environment with obstacles that make it difficult for them to play on the same playing ground as other neighboring schools children. Access to technology will allow them to travel to far off places and learn about the world around them.
Regardless of their economic challenges and limited resources, our students always strive for excellence. Their amazing brains allow them to solve complex problems and achieve above the rest. They allow no problem to go unsolved.
My Project
We are requesting Versa Tiles which will give my students a game-like experience while they practice crucial math skills. With no-prep, the students will immediately have the opportunity to practice these critical skills in a fun and exciting way.

Giving my students the opportunity to use the Versa Tiles makes learning fun because they need to solve puzzles. In addition, this amazing program supports 2019 content standards.
With the use of Versa Tiles, my students will answer engaging math questions by placing numbered tiles into the answer case. Then, they can instantly check their answers by flipping over the case to see if the pattern on the back matches the one on their current activity.
I will enjoy the convinces of no prep and no grading while the students enjoy the puzzle-inspired and hands-on practice.
