My Students

This group of students is so excited about learning! They are all unique and they all bring something special to the classroom! We are a capturing kids hearts school, and because of this all students come ready to learn with a smile on their face! We greet them every morning with a handshake or a hug! This has also helped create lasting friendships! All my students are go-getters and love learning from each other! They are the best for their kindness, dedication, and perseverance for when things get tough either at home or school.

My Project

I am a new kindergarten teacher. As all new teachers, I get hand-me-downs from old teachers, which is great for some items but not when it comes to an old rug that students will be sitting on and moving around on continuously! This rug with freshen up the room and allow students to learn shapes, letters, and the alphabet while either having an assigned square or participating in movement learning! When the room has new materials and new items it makes the room look more exciting and learning more exciting, which leads to students actually wanting to learn! There are a lot of motivators to just get students to learn and even a nice new rug can help students while also making learning more fun and engaging!
