Help me give my students many different learning tools during this distance learning! I am requesting books, math and number games and also let them plant a garden.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am a Pre-K teacher in a large urban high poverty school. My students are having a difficult time learning and staying engaged.
My scholars are very passionate and excited about learning.
Most of my scholars are below grade level. They would benefit from a wide variety of classroom materials and resources to help them learn from a distance. On March 13th, my students left there classroom learning environment.
School is now closed due to the COVID-19 virus for the rest of the school year. My students do not have access to much learning at home. So resources would be very beneficial to my scholars.
My Project
We are requesting books, math and number games and also let them plant a garden. These materials will allow my students to learn from home and be prepared for Kindergarten next school year. My scholars are important and so is their education.
My scholars will have the ability to learn at home with the books, garden and math materials they will receive.
They will be able to plant a flower and watch it grow step by step. The books will allow my scholars to learn how to read and keep up with daily practice while they are learning at home. The numbers materials will allow them to practice writing and be able to match with one on one correspondence.
