My Students
My students are early learners. Some of them have never been the school before. My class had learned their daily routine and then we were struck with this pandemic. So there was a sudden pause in our learning environment. I want us to continue as usual even though we can't see each other in person.
I want my students to learn that there are other ways to learn.
We have been faced with this challenge. However, if we work together we can get through anything. I'm asking for supplies because I don't know what education is going to look like in the future. I don't know if we will be back in the school classroom or will we continue with Distance Learning.
My Project
The document camera will allow me to project images so the students can see the pictures clearer. I would also be able to write a writing prompt and have my students respond to it. I could also have students practice their high-frequency words. If I wanted to show them a worksheet I could put it under the document camera and we could review it.
The document camera can also record your lessons.
If there was something that I wanted to reteach I could retrieve it from the document camera. It will also allow me to zoom in and out of lessons. For example, if I wanted to make an image larger are smaller the document camera would allow me to do so. Kids not only need to learn academically but, they also must keep moving to stay fit. I'm requesting the Onyx Studio 5 Bluetooth speaker so that I can implement recess virtually. My students are very active and they love to dance. The Onyx Studio 5 Bluetooth Speaker will enhance the sound of music and it will allow my students to dance and relieve themselves of anxiety that they are experiencing during this school closure.
