My Students
"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn." -Ignacio Estrada. My students are excited to learn; however, many face challenges that interfere with their academic growth. We work together as a team to overcome any challenges they may face.
The smiles on their faces when they walk through the door remind me that every child wants to be successful!
The school I work at focuses on community and encourages each child be successful in their own, unique way.
My Project
My students have a diverse set of needs. Using headphones with a mic helps my students access the voice to text feature when typing. This opens up a whole new world of writing. They are able to write with ease and stamina, and it allows me to help focus on areas of growth with my writers.
I want to give my students the best possible education I can.
My students would benefit from access to an iPad and case. This would grant them more access to technology. Using technology in our classroom levels the playing field and allows students to meet their educational aspirations.
