This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My 3rd grade students are very special because they want to learn more about many subjects. They are hard-working, bright students dedicated to advancing their learning.
The students at my school come from very diverse backgrounds and live in neighborhoods with incomes from low to middle socioeconomic backgrounds.
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. Every student book that is in my library of resources is treated with love and care to ensure that the students are getting what they need to succeed. The students will be thankful for the opportunities to enrich their learning. All of these books I have been chosen with my students in mind to.
My Project
Getting these good books for third grade will better prepare my students, and they will help build and lay the foundation for the necessary skills needed for third grade.
Receiving these materials will only enhance our classroom curriculum that the students are currently using for this school year, and they will also create a bridge to understanding for the next grade level.
The books will make a huge difference because the books will go further, extend the lessons, and go more in depth to the curriculum and add thorough understanding.
Additionally, the books will also make learning fun as the students navigate through the process of preparing for upcoming testing in 3rd grade.
