My students need a new carpet for our classroom and would love to get Flagship Carpets Learning Grid Seating Carpet and journals and markers to enhance our learning!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are thoughtful, creative, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to explore and think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school everyday ready to learn and try new tasks. They teach me as much, if not more, than I teach them.
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.
Each child in my classroom loves to learn, although the method in which they learn best varies greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
My Project
We would love a new carpet for our classroom! The one we currently have is extremely old and stained. We spend a lot of time on the carpet in whole group and in centers. We would love one to give us our own space and brighten up our room! The markers will help us practice our writing skills and other academic curriculum. The primary journals will also help us grow in our writing skills and help us all have the same materials.
Students feel comfortable in an open and inviting environment.
The materials we are asking for in this project will help make out classroom feel more inviting and accepting. We will use the markers and journals on a daily basis and are very important for our success!
