This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do yo remember writing on the board to show your skills in writing and solving problems? My students do not have enough opportunities to concretely write on a board and practice sharing a big book.

My students are 25 kindergarteners from a low income community.

My students need as many learning opportunities as possible during the day. Many of my students have vary hard working parents that struggle to make ends meet and therefore do not have the time they need to help their children at home. Their education is very limited as well.

My Project

This easel will build a center where all their reading needs will be met. I will be able to read from oversized books so students can see the stories better. I will be able to use magnetic manipulatives that the students can use as well to understand math concepts. My students will learn more joy of reading and problem solving. The presentation of my lessons with this tool will motivate my students to becoming better learners.

I am a motivated teacher that likes to bring the best to my students.

As a quality teacher, I can maximize the quality of my teaching with quality tools like this easel. This is the first of many project I hope to accomplish on this site to better prepare my students for their future by instilling in them a love for learning.
