I have a Head Start classroom with children ranging in ages from 3-5 years old. My children love to build and explore the classroom. My students have curious minds and express creativity daily.
The students come to school every day excited and eager to learn.
The students work together to investigate, question and understand our study topics. The children want to learn about their environment and the way the world works around them. I want my children to have every opportunity to learn while in my classroom.
My Project
With your help, my students will become more diverse in life by playing with this dollhouse. The students will be able to use the multicultural dolls and the dollhouse to act out scenarios. They will pretend to be mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters. They will learn through role play.
When the children play with these materials they will become more nurturing and learn to take care of things.
They will be able to use the containers and it will teach them the organizational skills they will need to succeed. They will be able to put everything away in an organized manner. With your help, my students will become more diverse and learn new skills to help them throughout their lives.
