My students need Dell Chromebooks because students will take tests on them that will assist in assessing skills to help teachers know what they need to work on.
Students will also gain important computer skills.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My second grade students are in a Title 1 school. Many of these students come from difficult home situations. They come to class in the morning full of life and energy. They like to do all of the fun things kids like to do. My hope is to bring an educational experience to them that will help them see their potential.
I am trying to help my students see that they are the future scientists, leaders, and artists.
My class, however, is in a school that has just opened. The school was under construction up to three days before school started. This is when I found out that I have limited supplies.
The Dell Chromebooks will make learning more interesting for students. Students will be able to look up information and video clips about things that they are learning. Students will also be able to use interactive curriculum to learn about subjects. The curriculum is designed to have parts where students work individually on computers. If we do not have the computers, we have to skip some of the valuable learning simply because we lack the materials. Our class may be using boxes for center tables but we would like to have at least a few computers for the students to work on.
These computers will allow students to be able to take tests online that will help teachers know what students need to work on in different subjects.
