My Students

My students are a very special group of children. Together, with my wonderful paraprofessionals, we are the Life Skills classroom on our elementary campus. Our children are from a variety of backgrounds. Many parts of our neighborhoods struggle, especially now. All of my students have survived Hurricane Harvey. Some of their families fared well, while others lost everything.

I passionately believe that all students have purpose and all have the ability to learn, including mine.

They can make a difference.

My Project

We have been so blessed this year through Donors Choose! We have received a wonderful technology program, "Math Alive" and "Alphabet Alive" is on it's way. We utilize several technology options to assist all of our students to reach their potential. Technology DOES make learning come to life.

Unfortunately; the computer we depended on to make it all happen has expired.

Currently; we only have ancient computers that will not support our most important programs for learning.

It has been a tremendous disappointment for my children. Donors Choose has provide so much to my classroom this year. I felt so bad to ask for something else; but I need your help once more for my children.
