My Students

Many of my students don't have access to technology at home. I want them to get the exposure at school. It is important that they are up with what's happening in the world today.

My students are from low socioeconomic families in a big city.

Our school is a Title 1 school in program improvement. The students are very interested in technology and want to explore all that it has to offer. They are very focused on learning when the learning is through technology.

My Project

We have different intervention programs in which students us computer programs to help them improve their skills. Having the Chromebooks and a mouse will help students improve their skills through educational games and programs. They greatly enjoy being able to access educational technology.

The students are enriched by having technology access.

It keeps them competitive with the world. The technology exposure will also make them more comfortable with future computer testing for Common Core. It makes them college and career ready.
