Our school saying is, "Better today than yesterday! Better tomorrow than today!" I want to make their tomorrow better!
My class consists of a diverse group of learners.
The socio-economic background of our students is reflected by our 97% free or reduced-price lunch rate. My class has 26 second-grade students of varying abilities. I integrated a Superhero theme into the classroom decor this year through various projects. I want them to feel like Superheros and Heroines while they navigate through our second grade standards throughout the year. As they reach a goal I have them choose a Superhero Mask and they pose for a snapshot. This Superhero/Heroine area has become the fun spot for my learners.
I teach in an urban inner-city school, rich with diversity. Most of my students need additional learning materials to meet grade level expectations. Please help me to make tomorrow better for them!
My students are energetic learners. They enjoy learning about the world around them.
Our classroom needs storage solutions to organize materials and have them accessible for learners.
Having the Honey Can DO All Purpose Teacher Cart at the center area will allow me to organize materials for Reading and Math and have them accessible when needed for my learners. Students are using many different items during a lesson. They need white boards, markers, manipulative items and more. Having the Whitmor Polypropylene Mobile carts to store these items would be great.
Each Home Homz white storage shelf cart can be labeled for each discipline. Students can go to the storage cart and take out the necessary supplies when needed for learning.
Having students organize supplies will help teach responsibility in the classroom. Students should be keeping center areas clean and organized for learning. Our classroom is a great place to learn. Having these carts and shelving units will allow my students to be organized learners.
