My Students

My students are incredible. I teach two classes of smart, energetic fun-loving students at a Title-1 school. Title-1 school means that most of our students live at or below the poverty level. Our school and students need help to accomplish the best education.

My Project

Learning by playing is one of the best ways to achieve a true understanding of the material. I am hoping to use the materials in this project to help my students learn math in the best possible way, by playing.

Math games will have my students having a blast while learning math skills.

These games will be put in stations where they can play with their friends every day! They will not even realize the valuable learning they are getting while playing.

Good teaching is the foundation of learning. However, when a student actively performs the math skills in these games they are achieving the best form of learning. Learning that has meaning and purpose to them.
