Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a PreK teacher! I am so excited to able to offer the children in my class a wonderful first experience to school and learning. I want to instill the love of learning in their little minds!
I teach at a low income, inner-city school in Indianapolis.
While our students have some struggles to overcome, they are eager to learn!
One hundred percent of my students are eligible for the free breakfast and lunch program. We also are providing our students a daily snack through a grant program.

My students are so excited to come to school every day and learn new things.
Little learners learn faster when they are involved and participating actively!
Your help can put resources into their little hands and in turn help them grow and learn to get ready for Kindergarten.
I have many students who learn better when they can touch, feel and be involved in the learning process. The Magnatab's will give them a way to learn letter formation that is fun and gives them some feed back that pencil and paper doesn't. The counting and sorting bears will give them hands on ways to participate and learn.
The floor games like Crocodile Hop and Alphabet Marks the Spot will give them ways to learn about cooperation, taking turns and patience. All traits that will take them far in life.
