My Students

My class of 4 year-olds is always so much fun. These students are experiencing public school for the first time. Many of them are having their very first experience at any type of formal schooling. The joy of discovering new experiences and learning is something special for these sweet little kids.

Early childhood children learn best through play.

Playing is very important to my students. They love to learn through role play, building, and exploring. My students play and explore using all of their senses. Seeing their eyes light up and the joy in discovering new things is one of my most favorite things.

My Project

My students will have the ability to explore a variety of materials with the funding of this project. The sensory bins will be used year-round with different materials and themes for each season.

Students will be able to learn by using their senses while exploring.

Discovering a variety of textures, smells, sounds, colors, and shapes allows students to learn about the world around them. Giving them this opportunity to discover would allow them to learn about a multitude of things. The great thing is, the students will think they are just having fun playing. It's a nice way to sneak in learning!
