Help me give my students materials they can use to enhance their online lessons and help them play some academic games that require additional materials.
Many of my students have been able to gain access to computers due to a grant out district received a few years ago. That being said, most of the students don’t have basic supplies at home that we use in the classroom for educational games and the arts.
My Project
We are now asking students to work at home on their computers daily. As first graders this is a very new way of doing things. They still need to work on handwriting and enjoy being creative. I am hoping that the materials provided here will allow them to explore their creativity even at home.
There are learning games the students also know how to play with dice and cards, but many do not have these things at home.
Providing these materials will allow them to have some hands-on learning and fun as well as the online learning we are providing.
I am also asking for a bin to organize my learning materials for them at home. Additionally, I would like a dry erase/corkboard to create a mini learning board for when we are on our live stream sessions to aid in learning.
