Help me give my students an impactful, engaging, and secure learning experience. Having a portable hard drive will safely protect and provide access to the resources I use when I am offline.

Our students are part of a dual language immersion charter school learning in Spanish and English. We are located in Newark, Delaware where most students in our community are learners of one of the two languages in which we deliver instruction. Our students respond well to a rigorous curriculum where they are immersed every other day in Spanish and English.
With the unplanned traumatic experience that COVID has presented, we are all operating under high levels of stress and anxiety.
Technology is being used as a way to survive and cope during this trying time. To assist in alleviating some of the stress and anxiety our students are going through, making technology a little easier to manage will be helpful for hybrid and remote learning.
Our students enjoy reading and writing in Spanish, but we also want to improve their confidence in speaking. Despite the challenge that learning in two languages presents, our students are excited about becoming bilingual. The more they practice the Spanish language, the better they will be able to develop their fluency and oral language skills.
Students are disappointed that school will not be how it used to be. Using fun games, activities, and projects that are already bi-lingual and content related will motivate them to embrace our new normal. Learning from home doesn't mean that there will be no more crafts or hands-on projects. This part of learning is meaningful as it caters to learners who are more creatively driven or who need other ways to express and show their learning. As a teacher, I have been learned that recreating the wheel should be avoided. There are many resources already created, tested, and reviewed that I can have access to using Teachers Pay Teachers. It is awesome to support the work teachers have already done and a way to give other teachers an assist with supplementing the content they are already creating.
