My Students

My kindergarten students are eager to learn and try new things. They are fascinated with the world around them. They are very accepting of one another and make teaching a joy!

They have had a huge curveball thrown at them and have never known a “normal” school year.

They are excited about learning and love to share their newly attained knowledge with others. My goal is to focus on their achievements to increase their confidence levels and make school remain a safe, positive, happy place for them. I want to reward them for all of their hard work this school year!

My Project

This project will provide materials for students to learn to be organized within the classroom: desk, backpack, and project organization. Organization for materials at their desk, in their desk, and to hang up their backpack and coats.

It will also provide materials for my students to practice counting and cardinality using ten frames.

These materials will be used daily to teach organization and counting and cardinality within the classroom. Teaching responsibility in taking care of their school materials is an important skill my students need to practice and these materials will greatly aide in this goal.
