My Project

My students are a lively, happy and creative bunch of kiddos, each with his or her own story, talents, and needs, but working together to make our classroom a welcoming place to learn and grow. I am an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and work with 20 students grades kindergarten thru 2nd grade. I help them gain skills in reading, math, and social language.

The past few years, many of my students have faced some hardships due to the effects of Covid and limited access to English.

I want my classroom to remain a comfortable, positive environment to encourage perseverance and a love for learning! As we settle into our routines, we are all working hard to make learning fun and enjoyable. This gift card would be used to purchase fun, hands on games to make learning interactive and enjoyable to build a love for learning and reading. It will be used to buy letter and sound games to use with my kindergarten kiddos as well as math addition and subtraction games to use with my first and second graders. Your generous gift will make learning come alive for my English Language learners.
