Learning About Me: A Human Body Study

Help me give my students an apron that identifies what's inside the human body, human x-rays, and a stethoscope.

My Students

I am a STEM teacher at an excellent charter school in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our school has an arts integration focus, and students have enrichment classes that teach art, PE/movement, ​STEM, and Hawaiian studies. My students are motivated learners that arrive each day ready to succeed!

Our school community is diverse; we have students living in 26 different zip codes!

I am blessed to work with such talented students, alongside supportive and caring colleagues, in a great school environment—Mahalo Nui loa (thank you very much) for your consideration.

My Project

My students will soon begin a unit learning about the human body. The materials I have requested will provide my students with hands-on learning experiences. I have asked for an apron that depicts the organs of the human body with velcro stuffed body parts to attach to the apron. I have also asked for a series of 18 x-ray images of the human body. In addition, I have asked for a stethoscope and human body trivia game to add to the fun. Mahalo, for your consideration and support of my students' learning of the human body!
