My Students
Students with whom I directly work with are 21st century learners who have the aspiration to learn and grow; however, sadly, they don't always have those of us on their side that recognize they can learn and grow (or have the funding to assist in their learning and growing.)
I teach in a community where we service refugees, low-income, single-parent families, homeless, poverty stricken families that need a breath of fresh air; please assist me providing that for my community.
My Project
The funding of this project will allow my students to select their own balance ball seat in my classroom.
Through this selection, students feel comfort and peace; which in turn engages students as they learn and grow.
As my students are learning and growing, I will be able to better support my students using the write and wipe sentence strips and the daily journals.
These resources will assist me in assisting my students's in mastering their basic literacy skills. These skills will not only help them in my classroom, but in their future endeavors as they continue to grow and mature.
