My students need 2 sets of non-fiction books "Eyewitness Pirate" and "Eyewitness World War II", to help them learn about history.

My Students

We "AAAARGHHH!!" wanting to explore pirates and history through non-fiction, but the problem is that we don't have enough books! These Eyewitness books will fill our minds with limitless knowledge about pirates that took up residence in the waters right off of our coast!

Our school is a community of learners who are invested in academic and social growth and motivated to be our best.

We have a diverse population in our school with over 30 different languages represented. We have 28 students in our class, and we are energetic and excited to learn each day!

My Project

The Eyewitness books we are requesting will be a great classroom resource. We are a group of inquisitive minds that constantly want to know more about subjects. These books will provide answers to the questions that we have about pirates and about World War II.

This project is important because the need for children's exposure to a variety of books is still very real and necessary.

In a world that seems to be turning to technology for many things, we are turning our backs on books sometimes. We need donors and support form the community to continue to help the students at Northwoods blossom!
